Who We Are
Around the House Handyman Services was born out of frustration - too many homeowners in Southeastern Indiana were left choosing between contractors who never returned a call and big outfits that brushed off small jobs as beneath them. We started this company to fix that.
We're based in Versailles, and we've built our reputation the old-fashioned way: one job well done at a time, passed along by word of mouth. We take on the small repairs other contractors won't bother with, and the bigger remodels other handymen aren't set up to handle.
40 Years in the Making
Behind every job we take on are Carl Greene and Ryan Neal, two tradesmen with a combined 40 years of hands-on experience across nearly every kind of home repair and remodel there is. That's four decades of drywall patched, decks rebuilt, kitchens reimagined, and roofs replaced - four decades of learning what actually works in an older Indiana farmhouse versus a newer build, what corners never get cut, and what it takes to leave a job better than you found it.
Carl and Ryan didn't set out to build a big company. They set out to be the two guys homeowners in Southeastern Indiana could actually count on - the ones who show up when they say they will, explain things in plain language, and treat every house like it's their own. That experience shows up in the small details: a genuinely invisible patch job, a deck built to outlast the homeowner who ordered it, an estimate that doesn't change halfway through the project.
